EuBIC Winter School on Proteomics and Bioinformatics –

January 2019 in Zakopane, Poland

EuBIC (the European Bioinformatics Community) have scheduled a winter school on proteomics and bioinformatics for January 15-18th 2019 in Zakopane, Poland, (EuPA sponsored).

This is the third EuBIC event of this sort, which have previously proven to successfully bring together scientists in the field of proteomics and bioinformatics.

This year’s special focus is the Challenges in Quantification and DIA.

Although still waiting for the confirmation the invited speakers include Brian Searle, Evangelia Petsalaki, Hannes Röst, Kathryn Lilley, Lars Juhl Jensen, Martin Eisenacher, Mathias Wilhelm, Stefan Tenzer, Sven Degroeve, and Yasset Perez-Riverol.

The registration fees for
students are 300€ (early birds) and 400€. The participants are encouraged to
submit abstracts for poster presentation in order to discuss and promote their
work.

The abstracts will be
reviewed and the notification of acceptance will be given by November 30th,
2018. Selected authors will be given the opportunity to give a short oral
presentation of their work.
